Our Story 

Green Teen Corps is a community based organization dedicated to providing a sustainable future by providing a pathway out of poverty.  Poverty is  the lack of resources to fund a living wage to meet basic needs such as housing, food, clothing, and healthcare.  Green teen Corps will provide these skills and opportunites to at promise youth to meet these needs through training an job placement in green industries.

 

Green Teen Corps is establishing a pilot program in Denver to meet these needs.  We are working with the City of Denver and community leaders to establish Green Teen Team coaching positions and business opportunities in Denver's historic Five Points area. Green Teen Corps will create a training program that will set up dozens of Denver residents to take new jobs in renewable energy and energy efficiency.

 

The Green Teen Corps will be a job-training pipeline connecting the different parts of the local workforce development community with emerging green jobs.
